This Chinese Calligraphy for Beginners course is designed for people of all ages who want to experience the art of Chinese calligraphy—no prior experience or knowledge of Chinese is required. (Some of our students made significant improvements in their Chinese proficiency through their calligraphy journey!)
You’ll be guided step-by-step through brush handling, basic strokes, and simple character writing, and will complete a short project including your own name in Chinese. Classes are conducted bilingually in English and Mandarin, with support in Cantonese and Hokkien if needed. Live demonstrations will give you a real feel for how calligraphy is done before you try it yourself.
